About Me

自幼成长于长辈的关爱之中，我深知孝顺的重要性。正如俗话所说：“子欲孝而亲不待”，然而，当我毕业后才发现，身边的长辈正以惊人的速度老去。 我亲眼见证了爷爷在退休后中风，从此足不出户，没再结交新朋友; 外公退休后只和电视机结交朋友。这样的经历让我开始思考：退休后的生活，是否只能是日复一日的孤独？ 留学归来，我发现本地缺乏真正适合退休人士的活动空间。工作了一段时间后，也发现同事有许多梦想却因生活而搁置。因此，我想创办这个学园，希望为退休人士提供一个机会，让他们重新追寻年轻时未能实现的梦想，同时提升退休后的生活质量，让晚年生活更加充实、有意义。 I grew up surrounded by the love and care of my elders, which naturally deepened my bond with them. Their kindness and wisdom shaped me, and I always hoped that one day, I could give back and provide them with a better life. However, by the time I was capable of earning money, many of them had already grown old and frail, and before I knew it, they had left this world. This made me realize how fleeting time is and how important it is to cherish and improve the lives of our elders while we still can. As I looked around, I noticed a significant gap in our society—a lack of suitable spaces for retirees to learn, engage in activities, and truly enjoy their golden years. Many retirees end up leading monotonous lives at home, with little stimulation or social interaction. My own grandfathers were examples of this. They spent most of their time watching television—on regular days, they watched the TV, and on other days, the TV simply "watched" them. Eventually, they passed away, having spent their final years in quiet isolation. This is why I am determined to create a space where retirees can learn, connect, and spend their days meaningfully. A place where they can rediscover purpose, enjoy their time, and return home each evening with pride and fulfillment.
